Bringing Christmas to Centinela

Christmas greetings from Mexico! What a privilege it is to share these pictures with you of Saturday's Christmas Shoebox distribution in the little pueblo near the Mexico-Texas border town of Piedras Negras.
Tillie and the vanload of boxes for Mexico

Greg Goza and his wife, Robin came from Anson with Tillie McGuire from Haskell to bring Christmas joy to these sweet kids in this small town where the Agua Viva Rehab is located.
Pastor Alejandro Alvarado and his wife, Veronica were on hand to lead us around town, giving out shoebox gifts and backpacks full of goodies for the kids, and some for the parents.

The shoeboxes were donations from Aspermont Community Church and Swenson Baptist Church, with Jeff and Juanita Rash partaking in the meal and packing the shoeboxes together at the church before the trip to Mexico. A large part of the materials supplied for the boxes and the backpacks was donated by LeAnn and the late Langley Rister of Hamlin, Texas.

May God bless you for your interest in this ministry,
and remember that Jesus is the Reason for the Season.
In His strong embrace,
Toni
